SRS

Type SRS synchronous engine start-up cabinet is designed for asynchronous start-up control and for supervision over 6kV synchronous engine operation of hoisting machine’s converter.

Synchronous engine start-up takes place directly without start-up current limitation with Rr start-up resistor into the excitation winding circuit insertion.

After reaching the undersynchronous rotations Rr resistor is being short-circuited, engine is receiving full excitation followed by power supply grid synchronization. Correct start-up and synchronization process and fixed operation state are controlled by programmable PLC controller installed in SRS cabinet.
